Super Shells were produced in Harrow, England in the heyday of slot racing during the 1960s. When the demand dropped, stock was stored at the factory until 2018 when the stock was cleared and the contents and building were sold off.
Page 5 of 6 - PENDLE HAVE JGTC CARS!!! - posted in The Pit Lane: I got my Calsonic Scaley Skyline today, just to confirm.It is 100% Scalextric, not Takara in any way and it takes a standard Saloon car digi chip.It is also very very nice.Personally I think the Takaras, though very nice, look a little too small, especially when sat next to rivals from Ninco, but this Skyline looks spot on I. Due to a 2nd lockdown we have decided to operate a click and collect service. Collections will be on Fridays or Saturdays. They also sell braids and other stuff though for misc spare parts you'd do well to look at top slots n' trains, or pendle slot racing - braid is cheaper per inch if you buy it by the yard. The bodies were originally produced to build either as a static model or a slot car. Pendle Slot Racing have taken the bodies and we can supply them with a choice of chassis set up. As you can see from the images they build up into a nice selection of models. The Super Shells range consisted of six GP models plus a Lotus Elite, Jaguar E Type, Lotus 30 and Ferrari 250P.
We have stock of the saloon/sports cars and will release them when a suitable donor chassis is available.
